What is the type of information I need to submit to the Bank at the time of account opening?

A. You need to submit the information to establish your identity and your address and a copy of your latest photograph. You can choose from the variety of the documents acceptable by the Bank for this purpose. The documents accepted by the Bank are as under:

  • Passport
  • PAN Card
  • Voters Identity Card
  • Identity card issued by the employer (subject to Bank's satisfaction)
  • Photo Credit Card
  • Driving License
  • Letter from a Gazetted officer verifying the identity and attesting photograph and address.

B. Proof of current address: (any one of the following)

  • Telephone bill
  • Electricity bill
  • Gas connection receipt
  • Ration Card
  • Bank account statement
  • Letter from employer (subject to Bank’s Satisfaction)
  • Any document which provides current address information (subject to Bank’s satisfaction)
